Criterion's November 2026 release slate!

Now then… those of you who are paid subscribers to our Digital Bits Patreon (or who follow us on social media) will know of a number of upcoming titles that we’ve told you are coming to 4K Ultra HD in the last few months, several of which have now been officially announced. Among them are…

  • Jon Favreau’s Made (2001)
  • Philip Kauffman’s The Right Stuff (1983)
  • Desmond Davis’ Clash of the Titans (1981)
  • P.T. Anderson’s There Will Be Blood (2007)

Those first two have obviously been announced this week, Clash of the Titans is soon to be announced, and you can look for There Will Be Blood to be announced next year sometime. So with that list aging well, let me give you four more titles that you can look forward to on 4K Ultra HD in the next 12 months…

  • Anthony Minghella’s The English Patient (1997)
  • Michael Anderson’s Logan’s Run (1976)
  • Steven Spielberg’s A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001)
  • Peter Hyams’ 2010: The Year We Make Contact (1984)

A quick note about a couple of these latest titles… Logan’s Run is now being teased by Arrow in postcards in their latest 4K titles, and A.I. has begun to be listed for pre-order in the UK—I’ve officially confirmed that it’s coming here in the States too, right around the end of the year.

Happy Friday, disc fans! Have a great weekend!
