Audio will be English 5.1 and 2.0 original theatrical mono in DTS-HD MA, with subtitles in English SDH, French, and Spanish. Dolby Vision HDR will be included.

According to the press release, you’ll get three new features (The Influence that Endures, Restoring and Preserving an Epic, and Scarlett O’Hara: A Woman Ahead of Her Time), plus a collection of legacy special features that carry over from previous Blu-ray and DVD editions (though whether all of the legacy content carries over we’ll have to confirm when we see the final package and have discs in hand).

Also today, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed that they’re releasing a new 35th Anniversary 4K Steelbook of Steven Spielberg’s Hook (1991) on 11/17. This will include Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio (along with the previous 5.1 and 2.0 mixes), as well as two new features. Hook Never, Never Ending is an hour-long documentary in full 4K that looks back at the film, while Bangarang! More from the Hook Archives is also in 4K and offers a look at behind-the-scenes archival footage. You’ll also get legacy content including 11 deleted scenes and the film’s theatrical trailer.

Sony has also set Julius Avery’s The Pope’s Exorcist (2023) for 4K UHD on 10/13.

Kino Lorber Studio Classics has revealed two new catalog 4K titles, including Peter Hyams’ Running Scared (1986) and Robert Altman’s The Long Goodbye (1973), both of which are coming soon. Also coming to 4K in the next few months from KLSC are Bluebeard (1972), Duplicity (2009), The Clown Murders (1976), and Four Rooms (1995), along with many other titles we’ve mentioned previously.

Powerhouse Films in the UK has a pair of new Aussie film 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray packages coming on 11/17, including Brian Trenchard-Smith’s Turkey Shoot (1982) and Geoffrey Wright’s Romper Stomper (1992).

Also, our friends at Imprint have just announced a great new 3-disc Blu-ray box set under the Imprint Television label: The Saint: The Feature Films! This will include The Fiction-Makers (1968) and Vendetta for the Saint (1969), which were originally TV episode adventures recut into feature films. You’ll also get the 2005 feature documentary My Life as Roger Moore. Look for hardbox packaging and a 44-page hardback book. The set is limited to 1500 copies.

And Shout! Studios has some good new titles coming to 4K, including Brett Ratner’s The Family Man (2000) on 11/3. The original animated The Transformers: The Movie is also coming in a new 4K Steelbook limited edition for its 40th anniversary on 11/17.

Shout! also has two new 4K collections, including The Chow-Yun Fat: Collection Vol. 1—which features The Occupant (1984), Why Me? (1985), City War (1988), The Diary of a Big Man (1988), The Eighth Happiness (1988) and Fractured Follies (1988)—and the Women in Prison Collection—which includes Big Doll House (1971), Women in Cages (1971), Chained Heat (1983), Jungle Warriors (1984), and Red Heat (1985). Both are due on 11/17.
