In announcement news today, you should know that the Criterion Collection is running a 30% off sale on all their 4K UHD titles, including pre-orders, through 9/20. So now’s a good time to pick up titles you may have missed. You can find them here.

The big news today is that our friends at the Warner Archive Collection have just unveiled their full October slate, which is set to include producer Aaron Sorkin’s short-lived Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006-2007) TV series, Jack Conway’s The Hucksters (1947), George B. Seitz’s Love Finds Andy Hardy (1938), and William Dieterle’s Jewel Robbery (1932) all on Blu-ray on 10/20, Jack Conway’s Love Crazy (1941), Vincent Sherman’s Mr. Skeffington (1944), George Pal’s Tom Thumb (1958), Compton Bennett’s That Forsythe Woman (1949), and Sidney Lumet’s The Hill (1965) all on Blu-ray on 10/27, Roy Del Ruth’s Phantom of the Rue Morgue (1954) on Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D on 10/27, and John Huston’s previously announced The Man Who Would Be King (1975) on 4K UHD on 10/27! Once again, Warner Archive crushes their physical media slate! That’s a great batch of titles.

Also today, Vertical Entertainment has set Luc Besson’s Dracula (2025) for 4K Ultra HD release on 11/17.

As we reported recently here at The Bits, Ketchup is indeed working on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD versions of Dave Green’s animated Looney Tunes’ tribute Coyote vs. Acme (2026) for release in time for the holidays. The specific street date is still TBA.

Universal has also listed Paul Greengrass’ The Uprising (2026) for Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD pre-order. Again, the street date is still TBA, as the film just opened in theaters this past weekend.

Warner Bros. and HBO have set The Sopranos: The Complete Series (1999-2007) for 4K Ultra HD release on 12/8 in wide-release and limited-edition packaging. These will include a new featurette called Restoring The Sopranos with David Chase and all of the legacy special features, but it does not appear that the set will include the prequel film, The Many Saints of Newark which was already released in 4K back in 2021.

Magnolia Pictures will release Gregg Araki’s I Want Your Sex (2026) in 4K Ultra HD on 10/20.

And Kino Lorber Studio Classics has revealed a bunch of new deep catalog 4K releases, including Martyn Burke’s The Clown Murderers (1976) on 10/27 and Allison Anders, Alexandre Rockwell, Robert Rodriguez, and Quentin Tarantino’s anthology Four Rooms (1995) on 11/10. Additionally, Robert Altman’s The Long Goodbye (1973), Richard Fleischer’s Mr. Majestyk (1974), Andre De Toth’s Pitfall (1948), and J. Lee Thompson’s Death Wish 4: The Crackdown (1987) are all “coming soon.”

Also, on the Digital font, Shout! Studios has upgraded George Romero’s Day of the Dead (1985) to 4K on most streaming and download services.
