Also today…

Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has set Susanne Bier’s Practical Magic 2 (2026) for Digital release on 10/13, with the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD release set to follow on 12/1. Extras will include 4 behind-the-scenes featurettes.

Meanwhile, Warner and HBO have announced the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K release of House of the Dragon: The Complete Third Season (2026) on 12/1. All 8 extended episodes will be included, along with 5 hours of special features.

Imprint Films has revealed that their November “hardbox” slate will include Directed by… Don Siegel (1959-69)—including Edge of Eternity (1959), The Killers (1964), Madigan (1968), and Death of a Gunfighter (1969)—Tales of Adventure: Collection 13 (1938-53)—including Spawn of the North (1938), Sea Devils (1953), Hurricane Smith (1952), and A Perilous Journey (1953)—and Orson Welles’ Touch of Evil (1958). All are Blu-ray only.

Here’s something very exciting: Severin Films is releasing their biggest collection ever: Morbid Pleasures: A Compendium of the Grand Guignol & The Grand Guignolesque, a 12-disc Blu-ray box set that includes more than 80 graphic horror/shocker films made between 1895 and 2025, many never released on home video before! The set will also include David Gregory’s documentary Theatre of Horrors: The Sordid Story of Paris’ Grand Guignol and a 350-page book Blood, Sweat & Sperm: The Visceral Horrors of The Grand Guignol featuring writings by André Breton, Richard J. Hand, Aleister Crowley, André de Lorde, Alexandra Heller-Nicholas, Alfred Binet, Maxa and more. Disc 12 of the set also includes Herschell Gordon Lewis’ The Wizard of Gore (1970) and the 2007 remake. The set is due to street in December, and you can pre-order it (and see all the details on the films included) here.

Finally today, our friends at DreamWorks (via Alliance and Paramount) have officially the 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray Steelbook release of Steven Spielberg’s A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) on 12/15 at last! As many of you know, this is a film task he took at the request of Stanley Kubrick, who tried for years to crack it. Look for the 4K disc to include Dolby Vision HDR and DTS-HD MA audio, plus the Blu-ray will carry over all of the legacy special features. You can see the cover artwork above left and also below (click on the image to pre-order the title on Amazon)…
