There’s been some confusion as to whether Tokyo Shock was going to actually release Zatoichi (1989) on Blu-ray on 8/21 or not. It was up on Amazon, then it got taken down, but now it’s back and you can actually pre-order the title. Click here or on the cover artwork below for that one too.

Finally, are any of you guys Venture Bros. fans? Not only does the show come back to Adult Swim on Sunday night (8/5), there’s a great new book about the series that just streeted. It’s called Go Team Venture! The Art and Making of The Venture Bros. from Dark Horse. And it is a hefty coffee-table tome, believe me. It’s terrific, not just because the series is, but because it’s 376 pages and like 5 pounds of rare artwork and interview goodness. Our very own Bits alum Todd Doogan even gets a fancy shout-out from series co-creator Jackson Public. You can find the book here on Amazon (and also below) for just $28.
Here’s the cover art for Zatoichi, both Avengers 4K titles, Mission: Impossible – Fallout in 4K, Batman: The Animated Series, and that Venture Bros. book (click to pre-order them on Amazon.com)...
Back tomorrow with more. Stay tuned...
