But for those who might be wondering, the studio has also officially confirmed information we posted yesterday: The 4K Steelbooks of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom will follow on 7/12, with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade set for 8/16, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull rounding things out on 9/20. We’ve updated our 4K Ultra HD Release List here at The Bits accordingly. Here’s what the first one looks like…
The studio has also announced the first-ever Blu-ray release of Reginald Hudlin’s Boomerang (1992), starring Eddie Murphy, in honor of the film’s 30th anniversary. Extras will include audio commentary by the director and 5 deleted/extended scenes with optional commentary. Street date is 6/28. You can see the cover artwork below.
Also, Amazon.com is already showing an 8/9 street date for David Cronenberg’s forthcoming Crimes of the Future on Blu-ray from Neon. No word yet if a 4K Ultra HD release is planned, but (for the time being and unless/until they take it down) you can pre-order the Blu-ray now at this link.

The set will include all 140 episodes, the first theatrical film, and hours of special features. You can see the cover artwork below.
And finally, it’s looking (from retail sources) like the revised street date for Disney’s The Beatles: Get Back documentary on Blu-ray may be 7/12, but keep in mind this is still subject to change. You’ll recall the title was originally to have been released on 2/8, but was recalled due to an issue with the audio.
We’ll leave you with a look at the covers for a few of the titles mentioned above, with Amazon.com pre-order links if available...
As always, stay tuned...!
