Now then, the big announcement news today is that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Marvel have just officially set Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: No Way Home for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on 4/12, with the Digital release expected on 3/22. Note that the 4K disc will include HDR10 high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos audio.
Extras on the Blu-ray and 4K SKUs will include a Bloopers & Gag Reel, a number of Alternate Reality Easter Eggs, 7 behind-the-scenes featurettes (including Action Choreography, Across the Multiverse, A Multiverse of Miscreants, A Spectacular Spider-Journey with Tom Holland, Enter Strange, Graduation Day, Realities Collide, Spiders Unite, and Weaving Jon Watt’s Web), 2 panel discussions (The Sinister Summit: Villains Panel and A Meeting of the Spiders: Heroes Panel), 3 Stories from The Daily Bugle clips (Spider-Menace Strikes Again, Spider Sycophant, and Web of Lies), and finally 2 Stunt Scenes Previsualization clips (including Apartment Fight and Shield Fight). We also have official confirmation from Lionsgate of their Best Buy-exclusive 4K Steelbook release of The Cabin in the Woods, which will street on 4/19 with HDR10 and Dolby Vision high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos audio. This will be the same disc released previously, just in new packaging.
