Today’s update is a quick one, as there’s not a great deal of news to report this afternoon...

First up though, Jahnke’s Hell Plaza Oktoberfest continues today with a look at Dark Sky Film’s new 4K 40th Anniversary restoration of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre on Blu-ray – do check it out!  [Read on here…]

In announcement news, Warner Home Video has set The Frank Darabont Blu-ray Collection for release on 2/24/15 (SRP $29.99). Included will be the new The Green Mile: 15th Anniversary Edition, along with The Shawshank Redemption and – for the first time on Blu-ray – The Majestic.

Also, Disney has now officially announced the 11/11 Blu-ray and DVD release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars – The Lost Missions. Extras will include a new 16-minute featurette covering all six seasons of the show, along with 4 additional story reels from The Lost Missions season.

And that’s all she wrote for this week. Here’s a look at some of the more interesting cover artwork for upcoming titles, along with the Frank Darabont art (that title is not yet available for pre-order on Amazon but the link will be added as soon as it is)...
