We have just a quick news update for you here today, as I’m personally working on more new 4K reviews...

But Stephen has just turned in his thoughts on Phillipe Labro’s The Hunter Will Get You (1976) on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber Studio Classics.

And Tim has delivered not just one but two new reviews of Bernard McEveety’s The Brotherhood of Satan (1971) on Blu-ray, including this one from Imprint/Via Vision Entertainment and this one from Arrow Video.

Also here at The Bits today, we’ve updated our 4K Ultra HD Release List, to include new 4K titles now available for pre-order, as well as our Release Dates & Artwork section, which has LOTS of new cover artwork for forthcoming Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD titles along with pre-order links. As always, whenever you order literally anything from Amazon after clicking to them from one of our links, you’re helping to support our work here at The Bits and we really appreciate it. Now then... Universal has set Edgar Wright’s The Sparks Brothers documentary for release on Blu-ray on 9/28. You can see the cover artwork above left and also below.

Universal has also finally set the 19-disc The Incredible Hulk: The Complete Series box set for Blu-ray release on 10/26.

On a similar note, CBS will release MacGyver: The Complete Collection on Blu-ray on 11/2, featuring 33 discs in all.

Meanwhile, we’ve learned that Koch Film’s new Wong Kar-wai 4K Ultra HD titles—Happy Together (1997) and In the Mood for Love (2000)—which are due to street Germany on 11/25, will only include German subtitles. So there’s little benefit to US consumers to import them. Hopefully, Criterion will update their World of Wong Kar-wai box set to include a 4K option in the near future. Thanks to Bits reader Michael W. for the update!

And here’s an interesting development... Disney’s Free Guy and Who Framed Roger Rabbit are now available for pre-order on Amazon in 4K Ultra HD (and Blu-ray in the case of Free Guy), but it remains to be seen if those listings will remain open or evaporate due to Amazon’s usual pre-street pissing match with Disney. Here they are in any case...

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (4K Ultra HD) Nice Guy (4K Ultra HD) Nice Guy (Blu-ray Disc)

And we’ll leave you today with a little more new cover artwork as well, including some of the titles mentioned above. Click on the images to visit their respective Amazon pages...

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) (4K Ultra HD) The Sparks Brothers (Blu-ray Disc) Robert Rodriguez Trilogy (Blu-ray Disc)

MacGuyver: The Complete Series (Blu-ray Disc) The Crown: Season Four (Blu-ray Disc) The Incredible Hulk: The Complete Series (Blu-ray Disc)

Back tomorrow. Stay tuned...
