That’s the street date Amazon.ca has now listed for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies – Extended Edition on Blu-ray and DVD in Canada at least, but those dates are almost always identical to Warner’s U.S. street dates, so it would seem reasonable to expect 11/17 to be the U.S. date as well. Meanwhile, here’s what the Canadian Blu-ray and DVD cover artwork looks like, which again should be very close to the final U.S. cover artwork sans French text…
With this much information starting to trickle out via retailers and other industry sources, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Warner make their official announcement tomorrow or Monday. So stay tuned…
