Also, we’ve got a quick update from industry sources on another forthcoming (but as yet unannounced) Criterion title: Their 4K Ultra HD release of David Lynch’s Lost Highway is now likely to street in November or December. (And remember, you heard it here first.)
Meanwhile, we’ve learned that Christophe Gans’ Brotherhood of the Wolf is coming to 4K Ultra HD in France on 9/23 as a new 20th Anniversary Edition from Metropolitan Film & Video and StudioCanal. The film’s original language is French, but keep in mind that it’s likely the release will not include English subtitles. You can see the title’s Amazon.Fr listing here.
And finally, Lionsgate has set Hulu’s Pam & Tommy for release on DVD only on 8/9.
We’ll leave you with a look at the new Criterion September titles. None of them are up for pre-order yet on Amazon, but we’ll be sure to add the relevant links when they go live... [Editor’s Note: All of these titles are now listed on Amazon. Just click on the covers below to visit their respective pre-order pages.]
Stay tuned...
