Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is about to officially announce the release of Kong: Skull Island on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD, with a street date of 7/18. Extras on the Blu-ray versions will include the 2-part Creating a King documentary, the Monarch Files 2.0 Companion Archive, Tom Hiddleston: The Intrepid Reporter, deleted scenes, audio commentary with director Jordan Vogt-Roberts and more. Looks like audio on all the Blu-ray versions will be Dolby Atmos. You can see what may be the final cover artwork below.
Also today, Warner and DC Comics have also set the animated Batman & Harley Quinn for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on 8/29. Extras will include The3 featurettes (The Harley Effect, Loren Lester: In His Own Voice, and A Sneak Peek at the Next DC Universe Original Movie), plus 2 episodes of Batman: The Animated Series (Harley and Ivy and Harley’s Holiday).
Lionsgate has just set Free Fire for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 7/18.
And the BBC has set Orphan Black: Season Five for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 9/12.
