In announcement news today, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has set Kill Your Darlings for Blu-ray and DVD release on 3/18. Extras will include audio commentary with Daniel Radcliffe, Dane DeHaan, John Krokidas, and Austin Bunn, 2 featurettes (On the Red Carpet at the Toronto Film Festival and In Conversation with Daniel Radcliffe and Dane DeHaan), a Q&A with the director and writer, and deleted scenes.
CBS and Paramount have set Rawhide: The Seventh Season, Volumes One & Two for DVD release on 3/4, followed by Flashpoint: The Final Season on DVD on 3/18.
And here’s more exciting news for you kaiju fans: Section23 Films has revealed that they’re going to be releasing Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster (a.k.a. Ebirah, Horror of the Deep – 1966), Godzilla vs. Hedorah (a.k.a. Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster – 1971), and Godzilla vs. Gigan (a.k.a. Godzilla on Monster Island – 1972) on Blu-ray Disc on 5/6. These will be issued on the company’s new label, Kraken Releasing. As many of you know, this year marks the 60th anniversary of the original Godzilla, so hopefully we’ll see more of these great classic films released on Blu-ray here in the States throughout the year. We’ll be sure to let you know as we hear anything new.
