On 2/18, the company will release Joseph Losey’s The Criminal (1960) and Accident (1967), Kevin Billington’s The Light at the Edge of the World (1971), and Mike Nichols’s The Day of the Dolphin (1971).
And on 2/25, KL Studio Classics will bow Peter Hall’s Perfect Friday (1970) and Henri-Georges Clouzot’s Quai des Orfèvres (1947) aka Jenny Lamour.
All of this is in addition to the already announced 2/4 Blu-ray and DVD release of Russell Rouse’s The Oscar (1966) and the DVD only release of Anne Frank (2001) and Leave Yesterday Behind (1978) that same day.
Kino Lorber is also distributing a trio of Scorpion Releasing titles on Blu-ray in February, including James Frawley’s Fraternity Vacation (1985) on 2/4, Rick King’s The Killing Time (1987) on 2/11 and Robert Altman’s Beyond Therapy (1987) on 2/18.
Don’t forget, Shout! Factory is releasing The Wizard: Collector’s Edition as a Shout Select Blu-ray release on 3/24. Also coming that day from Scream Factory is an April Fool’s Day: Collector’s Edition Blu-ray.
Here’s something interesting: Unearthed Films is working on a TBA Blu-ray and DVD release of director David Twohy’s 1992 sci-fi film Grand Tour: Disaster in Time. Look for it to arrive sometime in 2020.
The Warner Archive Collection has recently released a number of great catalog and TV titles on Blu-ray, including Young Justice Outsiders: The Complete Third Season, The Kominsky Method: The Complete First Season, The Bad and the Beautiful (1952), The 100: The Complete Sixth Season, Operation Crossbow (1965), Great Day in the Morning (1956), and Blindspot: The Complete Fourth Season. Those are now available. Coming soon from Warner Archive on Blu-ray are Teen Titans: The Complete Series, as well as each of the individual seasons of the series by themselves, along with the Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo movie.
Arrow Video has set Brain Damage set for Blu-ray release on 2/4, with Deadly Manor following on Blu-ray on 2/18.
Indicator/Powerhouse Films have Resurrected (1989), Orphans (1998), and Night Tide (1961) coming to Blu-ray on 2/7/20.
Well Go USA is releasing the Jackie Chan film The Knight of Shadows on Blu-ray on 1/21/20.
And in street date updates from our retail sources, Lionsgate’s Midway and Disney’s Frozen II are looking like February releases on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K (the likely street dates are 2/11, 2/18, or 2/25). Meanwhile, Fox’s Ford v Ferrari is now tentatively expected to street on 2/11. We’ve updated our 4K Ultra HD Release List with this information accordingly.
