I suppose that makes sense. The films that are includes are of a somewhat lighter nature. And Schindler’s List is already available on Blu-ray. Which leaves only the question of Munich’s BD release status. On that score, it’s worth noting that 2015 is the film’s 10th anniversary. More as it comes in.
In announcement news today, Scream Factory has set Hemlock Grove: The Complete First Season for Blu-ray and DVD release on 10/7. Extras will include 6 featurettes (Dysfunctional in Every Way, Anatomy of a Kill, Fairytales for Adults, The Rust Beneath the Surface, The Monster Within, and It Hurts So Good).
20th Century Fox has set the CG-animated Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return for Blu-ray and DVD release on 8/26.
CBS has announced Now and Again: The DVD Collection for release on 8/26 (SRP $42.99). The 5-disc set includes all 22 episodes of the 1999 series, which starred Eric Close, Dennis Haysbert, Margaret Colin and Heather Matarazzo. Extras will include the 4-part Gimme a Sign: Engineering Now and Again documentary.
CBS and Showtime have also set Californication: The Final Season for DVD only release on 8/5.
And CBS has an additional slate of TVD titles coming in August and September, including NCIS: The Eleventh Season, NCIS: Los Angeles – The Fifth Season, and The Good Wife: The Fifth Season (all due 8/19), Criminal Minds: The Ninth Season and Elementary: The Second Season (both on 8/26), Blue Bloods: The Fourth Season (on 9/9), and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation – The Fourteenth Season and Hawaii Five-O (2010): The Fourth Season (both on 9/16).
