Vertigo Films has announced the Blu-ray and DVD release of Tom Green’s Monsters: Dark Continent on 6/2. The film is a sequel to Gareth Edwards’ 2010 Monsters.
Olive Films has announced the release of the Pam Grier films Coffy, Friday Foster and Foxy Brown on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/9. Also coming that day are Hammer and She-Devil. Olive is also releasing Firewalker on Blu-ray on 4/21.
Meanwhile, Kino Lorber has announced Robert Parrish’s The Destructors (1974) aka The Marseille Contract and also Burt Kennedy’s Young Billy Young (1969) for Blu-ray release in the near future. Street dates are TBA. In September, the studio will release Support Your Local Sheriff (1969) and Support Your Local Gunfighter (1971) on DVD only.
Acorn Media will release Brokenwood Mysteries: Series 1 on Blu-ray and DVD on 7/7.
MPI Home Video will release Camp X-Ray on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/2. The film stars Kristen Stewart.
Artsploitation Films has set Cub for Blu-ray and DVD release on 8/15. They also have The Treatment due on both formats on 7/7.
Gorgon Video has set a double feature of Bonnie’s Kids and The Centerfold Girls for Blu-ray release on 6/9.
Brink will release Sorrow on Blu-ray and DVD on 8/25.
CineliciousPics has set Adam Rifkin’s Giuseppe Makes a Movie for Blu-ray release on 6/9.
For music fans, Mug Shot Productions will release the Deep Sea Blues documentary on Blu-ray on 7/7. The film tells the story of the legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise.
Also, Rhino will release R.E.M. by MTV on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/2.
And Troma will release Extreme Jukebox on Blu-ray on 6/9.
