All will feature English Dolby Atmos audio, audio commentary (by director Ryan Coogler, writer Joe Robert Cole, and cinematographer Autumn Durald Arkapaw), 2 featurettes (Envisioning Two Worlds and Passing the Mantle), 4 deleted scenes (Outside the Scope, The Upstairs Toilet, Daughter of the Border, and Anytime, Anywhere), and a Gag Reel.
Here’s what they look like...
Note that we’ll an Amazon.com pre-order link to the wide release artwork when it becomes available.
All will feature the 2.39:1 aspect ratio, while the variable-aspect IMAX Enhanced presentation will be replicated on the Disney+ streaming version.
Also today, we have one other Disney 4K note: We’ve learned from retail sources that Strange World will only be available in 4K as a Best Buy-exclusive Steelbook edition, or directly from the Disney Movie Club in regular Amaray packaging. No wide-release 4K Amaray is planned, at least in North America. The movie will, however, be widely available on both Blu-ray and DVD, and there will be a 4K Digital version. Street date is 2/14.
We’ve updated the 4K Ultra HD Release List here at The Bits with all of this information accordingly.
That’s all for now. Stay tuned...
