In announcement news today—well, it’s not exactly an official announcement yet, but—Studio Distribution Services has just listed the James Bond 007 Sean Connery 6-Film Collection for release in 4K Ultra HD (click here) and 4K Steelbook Limited Edition (click here) on Amazon from MGM and WBDHE. There’s no street date yet listed, but we expect them to arrive on or about 6/3. The sets will include the films Dr. No (1962), From Russia with Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967), and Diamonds Are Forever (1971). There’s no cover art yet, and we’re still awaiting an official press release. Nor is there any sign of UK listings yet, but that’s likely to change soon. Click on the links to pre-order them. All right, we’re back finally. We were sort of back last week, but a combination of server work and various houseguests kept me from really diving back into things here at The Bits, though Tim and the crew have been active in posting reviews. I’ve also been up to something very exciting over the last few months, which I’ll talk more about in a minute.

We have a trio of recent Blu-ray reviews for you to check out today, including Tim’s look at Cutting Class from Vinegar Syndrome, Dennis’ review of Not Without My Daughter from MVD, and David’s look at Topper Takes a Trip from VCI.

And I am about to embark on an in-depth review of Damien Chazelle’s recent Neil Armstrong biopic First Man, which was one of my favorite films of 2018. All right, we’ve got a pretty good Rumor Mill-style update for you guys today, with mostly positive (but as-yet-unofficial) future release news.

First though, a couple of actual title announcements...

Scream Factory has set The Legend of Hell House for Blu-ray release on 8/26, along with Leviathan on 8/19. Meanwhile, Without Warning and Phantom of the Paradise are set for 8/5.

And Warner Home Video has set JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time for DVD release on 5/20, followed by The Adventures of Batman on DVD on 6/3. [Read on here...]
