There’s not a lot of release news to report today, given the President’s Day holiday here in the States, so we’re spending our time working on those new disc reviews.

But we do have a couple quick items to report for you...

First, Paramount is now expected to release both George Cukor’s My Fair Lady (1964) and J.J. Abrams’ Super 8 (2011) on 4K Ultra HD on 5/25. We have cover artwork for My Fair Lady which you can see at left. Meanwhile, both titles have just been added to Amazon.com. They aren’t yet available for pre-order, but we expect that to change shortly. For now, you can find My Fair Lady linked here and Super 8 here. We expect the official announcement to happen in the next couple of days, so be sure to stay tuned. [Read on here...]

Meanwhile, Lionsgate has set Castille London’s psychological thriller Fear of Rain for release on Blu-ray and DVD tomorrow, 2/16. The title is now available on Digital, On Demand, and as a Limited Theatrical Release. The film stars Madison Iseman, Katherine Heigel, Israel Broussard, and Harry Connick Jr.

And here’s a very nice surprise we weren’t expecting: Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is officially releasing Wonder Woman 1984 on Blu-ray 3D day and date with regular Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD. You can see the cover artwork (and pre-order the title on Amazon) below.

We also wanted to let you know that many of Shout! and Scream Factory’s May Blu-ray titles are now available on Amazon. So click here to pre-order those...

 King Kong: Collector's Edition (Blu-ray Disc) Explorers: Collector's Edition (Criterion Blu-ray Disc) Wonder Woman 1984 (Blu-ray 3D)

My Fair Lady (4K Ultra HD) City Slickers II (Blu-ray Disc) The Hand (Blu-ray Disc)

I also just wanted to really quickly let you guys know that we’re working to optimize all of the new advertising that’s appearing on The Bits. We’re working with a new ad network that we hope will help us continue to keep the site running long term. But while we’ve been testing different ad units, we know there are a lot of them and some of them are a little much. Over the next week you should start seeing the amount of them dialing back a little—especially for you guys reading the site on mobile devices, where screen real estate is precious. So just know we’re aware and we’re working on it and we do appreciate your patience.

All right, back with more tomorrow. Cheers!
