The Double Indemnity: 70th Anniversary Limited Edition will include audio commentary with film historian Richard Schickel, a second audio commentary with film historians Lem Dobbs and Film Historian Nick Redman, an introduction by TCM host Robert Osborne, the 38-minute Shadows of Suspense documentary, the film’s theatrical trailer, UltraViolet, and the Double Indemnity 1973 TV movie version!

Meanwhile, the Touch of Evil: Limited Edition will include THREE versions of the film – the preview version, the theatrical version and the “reconstructed version based on Orson Welles’ original vision.” You’ll also get audio commentary on the reconstructed version with reconstruction producer Rick Schmidlin, a second commentary on the reconstructed version with Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, and Schmidlin, 2 featurettes (Bringing Evil to Life and Evil Lost and Found), UltraViolet, and the film’s theatrical trailer. You can see the cover artwork below and pre-orders are now available on Amazon by clicking on the art.

That’s not all. Get this: Universal has also set Joe Kidd, King Kong Escapes, King Kong vs. Godzilla, Rooster Cogburn, Two Mules for Sister Sara, and The War Wagon for Blu-ray release on 4/1 (SRP $19.98 each)! That is AWESOME news for Blu-ray catalog fans.

Guess what? STILL not done today: Paramount has just revealed that Steven Spielberg’s The Terminal and Amistad are coming to Blu-ray on 5/6, followed by a Crocodile Dundee/Crocodile Dundee II double feature BD and The Godfather, Part III as a BD single on 5/13. Amistad will include The Making of Amistad featurette and the trailer in HD. Phase 4 Films has After the Dark coming to Blu-ray and DVD on 5/6.

And Summit/Lionsgate are apparently delivering Hercules the Legend Begins on BD on 4/29.
