My Two Cents

Disney is finally bringing Netflix’s Daredevil to Blu-ray (at least in the U.K. but probably the U.S. too)!

All right, we’ve only got one thing for you today, as we close out the week and kick off the long Fourth of July holiday weekend here in the States. But it’s a good one, especially for you Marvel fans.

It looks like Disney is finally getting ready to release the Netflix original series Daredevil on Blu-ray and DVD (£25.99 and £19.99). Daredevil: The Complete First Season is currently set for Blu-ray and DVD release on 10/3... in the U.K. at least.  [Read on here…]

Here’s a look at the cover artwork, the links for which takes you to the pre-order page for each SKU...

Daredevil: The Complete First Season (UK DVD)    Daredevil: The Complete First Season (Blu-ray Disc)    Daredevil: The Complete First Season (UK Blu-ray Steelbook)

As you can see on the right, there’s also a retail-exclusive Steelbook version available in the U.K. only at Zavvi (£29.99). Now, we have no additional information on the title at this time, except that you can virtually guarantee that a U.S. release is happening too, and the most likely time and place to announce it would be at San Diego Comic-Con in a few weeks (that is... if it doesn’t happen sooner). So anyway, there you go.

With that, we’d like to wish you all a very happy and safe Fourth of July with your family and friends. And happy normal weekending to the rest of you! We’ll be back here with more news, reviews, and features on Tuesday (7/5).

See you then... and peace out!
