All right, we’ve got a pretty good Rumor Mill-style update for you guys today, with mostly positive (but as-yet-unofficial) future release news.

First though, a couple of actual title announcements...

Scream Factory has set The Legend of Hell House for Blu-ray release on 8/26, along with Leviathan on 8/19. Meanwhile, Without Warning and Phantom of the Paradise are set for 8/5.

And Warner Home Video has set JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time for DVD release on 5/20, followed by The Adventures of Batman on DVD on 6/3. [Read on here...]

Okay, we’ve got a couple things for you today, but the overall update is going to a quick one today. My wife was in a car accident yesterday – she’s okay, but our car was rear-ended and sustained some pretty good damage, so real life calls today with significant demands on my time.

Meanwhile, though, the good Dr. Jahnke has turned in his weekly Burnt Offerings: MOD DVD column for this week with some good news about a great new catalog Blu-ray release from The Warner Archive, as well as additional DVD product from Warner Archive and the 20th Century Fox Cinema Archives. Also today, we’ve got some new announcements to report...

First up, Lionsgate has set Joe, staring Nicholas Cage, for Blu-ray and DVD release on 6/17 (SRP $24.99 and $19.98). Extras will include 2 featurettes (The Making of Joe and The Long Gravel Drive: The Origins of Joe), deleted scenes, and audio commentary with director David Gordon Green, composer David Wingo and actor Brian D. Slow news day today, but we do have a couple of things for you...

First, Universal has revealed a few more catalog titles coming to Blu-ray on 7/1, including Bring It On, Cry Baby, Kindergarten Cop and The Little Rascals.

Universal has also set Non-Stop, starring Liam Neeson, for Blu-ray Combo and DVD release on 6/10. Does anyone else keep mixing this film up with 3 Days to Kill, or is it just me? “Old Guys Kicking Ass” seems to be a real growth genre these days. [Read on here…]
