Kino Lorber has revealed that they’re working on a new Blu-ray and DVD release of William Dieterle’s I’ll Be Seeing You (1944), starring Ginger Rogers, Joseph Cotten, and Shirley Temple. No street date is yet available.
A distributor called Altered Innocence has set Kuba Czekaj’s Baby Bump for release on Blu-ray on 9/5.
For anime fans, Bayview Entertainment will release the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin – Chronicle of Char and Sayla Collection on Blu-ray on 8/1. There will be a DVD version as well that same day.
Mill Creek Entertainment has set Blackbeard: The Complete Miniseries for Blu-ray release on 8/1. The series stars Angus Macfadyen and Jessica Chastain.
And Scream Factory has just kicked off a 50% sale on nearly all of their currently available Blu-ray and DVD titles in celebration of their 5th anniversary. The sale will run until 6/19. Act fast, as certain popular titles are selling out quickly.
Finally this week, we wanted to leave you with this… last night in Los Angeles, thousands of fans gathered Downtown to experience a special ceremony honoring the late Adam West. L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti and Police Chief Charlie Beck, joined by actors Burt Ward and Lee Meriwether, lit the Bat Signal on the side of City Hall. We simply can’t think of a more fitting way to honor West and his legacy. Here’s a photo taken by our old friend Ed Peters at the event (thanks Ed!)…
