We’ve got three more Blu-ray reviews for you to enjoy today, including...

Stephen’s take on Alan Parker’s Bugsy Malone, as newly released by Paramount as part of their Paramount Presents line-up.

Dennis’ look at Gordon Hessler’s Scream, Pretty Peggy (1973), a Bette Davis title from Kino Lorber Studio Classics.

And Tim’s thoughts on Rob Galluzzo’s new documentary Analog Love: The Art of the Mixtape from Passion River Films.

As always, more new disc reviews are on the way for tomorrow, so be sure to check back then.

In announcement news today, Paramount has just set Warren Beatty’s Reds for release on Blu-ray on 11/30 in honor of the film’s 40th anniversary, newly-remastered from the original camera negative in 4K in a process supervised and approved by Beatty and cinematographer Vittorio Storaro. Unfortunately, this title is Blu-ray only, but an HDR grade was done too, so it’s almost certain that a Digital 4K release is forthcoming (and it’s possible that a 4K UHD disc could follow eventually if this Blu-ray does well). In any case, this is a 2-disc set. All of the legacy Blu-ray extras will be included.

Paramount has also revealed a new Blu-ray release of Beatty’s Heaven Can Wait that’s set to street the same day (11/30). This has also been “fully restored and remastered from the original negative under Beatty’s supervision” to ensure the highest image and sound quality. You can see the cover artwork for both of these (and pre-order them on Amazon.com) below.

Meanwhile today, Zavvi has just revealed an exclusive 4K Ultra HD Steelbook release of the new James Bond film No Time to Die. They’re taking pre-orders now, but the street date they show (12/31/21) appears to be a placeholder. Nevertheless, industry sources are telling us to expect it on 12/21. Anyway, you can see the Zavvi edition below. Note that the artwork is subject to change. Click here or on the image to pre-order the title...

Also on the 4K front today, retail sources tell us to expect Disney’s live action Jungle Cruise on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on 11/16.

Those same sources suggest that HBO and Warner’s prequel to The Sopranos, The Many Saints of Newark, will street on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K on 12/21.

And here’s a surprise for music fans: Mercury Records has just set Eric Clapton: The Lady in the Balcony – Lockdown Sessions for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on 11/12. (We don’t yet know what the audio and HDR formats will be.) You can see the cover art below.

Also, on the regular Blu-ray front, Quiver Films has announced a new Woody Allen Collection Blu-ray box set for release on 11/23 that’s set to include Bullets over Broadway, Mighty Aphrodite, Everyone Says I Love You, Celebrity, Small Time Crooks, Curse of the Jade Scorpion, Hollywood Ending, and Anything Else.

Finally today, MGM and Fathom Entertainment have just revealed that they’re releasing Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky IV: Rocky vs. Drago – The Ultimate Director’s Cut into theaters for one-night only on 11/11. The cut is apparently longer than the previous theatrical edition and features some 40 minutes of alternate scenes. And all we can say is: Hell, yeah! Fingers crossed it will be released on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD as well, along with new 4K editions of the rest of the Rocky franchise. You can see the trailer for this here...

All right, we’ll leave you with a look at the cover artwork for several of the titles mentioned above and more, with Amazon pre-order links for each...
