Warner Bros and DC’s Wonder Woman is also now available for pre-order on Amazon on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and 4K Ultra HD formats (click on the format links to visit the respective pre-order pages). Street date is TBA.

BBC Home Entertainment has just officially set Orphan Black: Season Five – the series’ last – for Blu-ray and DVD release on 9/12. Extras will include a behind-the-scenes look at each episode, plus 5 featurettes (Island of Lost Souls, The Epic Clone Shot, Clone-Centric, The Beginning of the End, and Out of the Black).

We have the final cover artwork for Nacho Vigalondo’s Colossal Blu-ray release (see above left and below), which is due from Universal (along with DVD and Digital HD) on 8/1. Extras on the Blu-ray will include deleted scenes.

Here’s a surprise: A company called Retromedia Entertainment Group, Inc. has released James Landis’ Rat Fink (1965) on Blu-ray Disc – it’s now available on Amazon (click on the cover art link below). The film was thought lost for over 50 years, its original elements destroyed in a fire. But a print was recently located in a warehouse, was restored in 2K, and is now available on disc. It features cinematography by no less than Vilmos Zsigmond. Extras on the disc include 2 featurettes (Remembering Schuyler Hayden and Rat Fink: A Look Back), plus the film’s trailer. Tip of the hat to Johnnie Young for spotting that).

Severin Films is releasing Andres Torres’ Bag Boy Lover Boy on Blu-ray on 7/25. Extras will include audio commentary (with Torres, actor Theodore Bouloukos, and editor Charlie Williams), 2 student films by actor Jon Wachter (Got Light and The Never-Starting Story), and the trailer.

Arrow Films is releasing Jean-Luc Godard + Jean-Pierre Gorin: Five Films, 1968-1971, a 6-disc Blu-ray box set, on 9/19 (SRP $99.95). The set will include all 5 political film shot by the pair in the late 60s and early 70s on 16mm film. They are: Un film comme les autres (A Film Like Any Other), British Sounds, aka: See You at Mao, Vent d’est (Wind from the East), Lotte in Italia (Struggles in Italy), and Vladimir et Rosa (Vladimir and Rosa). There will also be a 100-page book, a 2010 interview with Godard and more.

Lionsgate will release The Lincoln Lawyer on 4K Ultra HD on 8/15.

Mill Creek Entertainment is releasing The Poseidon Adventure: The Complete Miniseries on Blu-ray on 8/1, starring Adam Baldwin and Rutgar Hauer.

And we’ve got another Kino Lorber update for you. The studio’s August Blu-ray slate will include The Good Son (1993), The Devil’s Brigade (1968), and Son of Paleface (1952) on 8/1, Clambake (1967) and Frankie and Johnny (1966) on 8/8, Duel in the Sun (1946) and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: 50th Anniversary Edition on 8/15, Beggars of Life (1928), Varieté (1925), and The Indian Runner (1991) on 8/22, and The Legend of Hillbilly John (1972) on 8/29. The company is also working on a new Blu-ray and DVD release of Garry Marshall’s The Flamingo Kid (1984) and, as we’ve mentioned before, they’re working to bring the original The Outer Limits TV series (1963-65) to Blu-ray starting with Season One late this year and Season Two in early 2018.

Here’s a look at more new Blu-ray Disc cover artwork for some of the titles mentioned above, with Amazon links if available...
