Halloween Hangover – 2015 (The Leftovers!)

Well… Halloween Hangover took its toll this year, but thankfully, I escaped it with plenty of coffee and support from our readers. Hopefully, you enjoyed it and we did our bit to honor the past Halloween review work of longtime Bits staff writer Adam Jahnke. So thanks for tuning in – we really appreciate it. Halloween Hangover! – 2015

We all miss Dr. Jahnke here at The Digital Bits, especially his annual Oktoberfest reviews during the Halloween season. So since I'm a big fan of horror movies myself, we’re going to carry on that tradition in the same spirit, but mix it up a bit. I’ll be spending the month reviewing not just the newest horror titles currently hitting the market, but also some others that we haven’t covered here previously and that you might have overlooked (all of which are well worth your time and hard-earned cash). It should be a lot of fun and we hope you’ll join us all month long for it Hopefully, I’ll still be standing afterwards… having a Halloween Hangover.  [Read on here...]

I’m busy working on Blu-ray reviews here at The Bits today, so today’s update is going to be quick. That said, we’ve got a couple cool things for you, plus some interesting release news.

First, our very own Michael Coate has turned in yet another great History, Legacy & Showmanship column today, featuring a look back at TV’s classic Get Smart in celebration of the show’s 50th anniversary! The column offers a great roundtable interview with historians Carl Birkmeyer, Lee Pfeiffer, Paul Scrabo, and Nate Sears.
