A tired retread of so many other Burt films. Think Hooper without the laughs, Cannonball Run without Dom Deluise, or Smokey And The Bandit without Jackie Gleason. OK, it did reteam Ned Beatty with Burt, for those who remember their first pairing in Deliverance.

The sound is mono. Now, that may be because of the original soundtrack, but you can't tell me a movie about a NASCAR driver that has a mono soundtrack, isn't going to disappoint DVD fans. No extras. Put on a dunce cap and sit in a corner WB, you fail, yet again.

Overall Rating: D
It's a stupid movie. I'll admit that before anyone else. Burt isn't his typical Burt self, and Jim Nabors is a very weak sidekick. There is a lot of cleavage though, thanks to Loni Anderson and a cameo by Elvira.

Bottom line

There is no bottom line. If you're a die hard fan of Burt, pick it up -- it's not gonna kill ya. It looks OK, sounds as good as it does on VHS and has Jim Nabors singing Sunday school songs. `Nuff said.
